INCLEMENT WEATHER, RAIN POLICY, Refunds & Cancellations
There are many variables that go into a delay of play, postponement, or
rescheduling. We treat every outing as though it's a PGA Tour sanctioned event and
these decisions are made on a case-by-case basis. Players should therefore plan on
arriving to the course as scheduled.
As an outdoor activity, it is expected that play will take place as weather-related
decisions are made the day of play. Only in cases of extreme weather conditions,
again on a case-by-case basis, would a postponement be made in advance.
Terms and Conditions:
- Light to Moderate Rain Showers - Play will take place as scheduled. The
tournament will be billed for players who signed up but did not play.
- Heavy Rain & Lightning - If sitting water/puddling becomes prevalent greens,
and or if lightning is in the immediate area the following would occur:
- If these conditions exist prior to your official start time, play would be
delayed until conditions improve.
- If the tournament is underway, play would be suspended. Players would
then be directed back up to the clubhouse area to park their golf carts
under shelter in our cart barn area. Play would be delayed until conditions
improved.
- We will do everything possible to get the round played. When 9 or more holes
have been played, the tournament is official. With that said, even if a player
can't finish all 18-Holes we pride ourselves on being very accommodating to
anyone not achieving the full round experience.
-
In the event an official round is not possible to complete, those players
who started the round will be given a gift certificate for a free 18 round of golf
at the course.
Monday - Friday events will be given Weekday Certificates
Saturday, Sunday, & Holiday events will be given a Weekend
Certificate.
- If the round is not able to begin, the tournament will not be billed for
greens fees/cart/range balls as no play took place.
